What’s Hot Goes in the Back – 1985 Porsche 911 – Iowa

This 1985 Porsche 911 has a pretty good price -9900 bucks – and that’s for a pretty awesome car too. The catch? 138k miles and strange warmup gremlins. But the exterior seems spotless and the black interior is in pretty good shape. I decided to post this craigslist ad since it also has an EBay auction with bids fluctuating around 9900 bucks. The best deal is to go through the craigslist ad, lowball the price and hope for the EBay listing to be terminated, since the EBay bids will only rack up bringing the price to the stratosphere. A picture follows.

Pros:

It’s a Porsche, air cooled engine may be reliable and offer no resistance, galvanized body shell will never corrode, lots of specialized websites on the Internet offer a nice database for common problems and solutions, a very light and quick car.

Cons:

Mileage is too high, the car comes with a problem (Add at least 2 grand to the final value.) originality of the car can be questioned.
