The headline says it all. Here’s an ORIGINAL (No kit car here, people.) Lotus 7. The car was also modified for road racing, and has a full race history preserved via logbooks. I don’t really have much to say, if you really know anything about performance cars you know what this car is all about. Here’s the ad:

For sale is an original 1964 Lotus 7A. This car has been recently updated with the intention of returning it to the track. Its race history is from the Midwest, logbooks and race results are included. Car was last on the track in 1994. There is documentation back to the original owner.

Engine: BMC 948cc, Ported Head, Dome Pistons, Delong Cam, Petronix Ignition with digital rev limiter, Huffaker Thru bore Carbs, Winners Circle Oil Pan, Fidanza Aluminum Fly Wheel, Tubular Headers, Headers and Exhaust are Jet Hot Coated. Engine has very little time on it as it has been run in the shop only. Transmission: BMC Smooth case Rear Axle: Triumph, with welded 4.54 Final Drive Brakes: Converted from Drum to Disc in Front. Drums Rear Fuel System: New Fuel Safe Fuel Cell, 8 gal. Electric Fuel Pump, Pressure Regulator and Gauge Chassis: Spax Adjustable Coil Over Shocks, Suspension has new bushings Electrical: Car was completely rewired, and has a functioning charging system, Safety: Current Simpson 6 Belts/ Harness, Reinforced Roll Bar, Fire Extinguisher
